Kleines Fest im großen Park 2015

Last weekend I was with my family in Schwerin. We planned for quite some time now that we wanted to go the small festival called 'Kleines Fest' in Ludwigslust together as we did two years ago. My cousin Peter and his girlfriend came far away from Stuttgart. I was so happy to see them. The evening before the festival we went out for dinner all together and the for a few drinks. I had a couscous salad for dinner and we went to the bar Der Angler where I took this first photo.

The next day was the day of the festival. It took place in the garden of the castle in Ludwigslust and it's very pretty there. Of course there were a lot of people again, but with my family together it wasn't a bad thing. The plan was that we wanted to picknick first and each one of us had to prepare something for it. Below you will see our picknick menu, selfies and photos of us all:

Then we started to walk around in groups and watched the small shows that took place all over the park. The shows weren't so good as last time two years ago but they still were very funny. But mostly I liked the figures that walked around the park. Like a small elefant on a bike that gave comments to poeple that looked at him funny, a group of ants that talked gibberish and always lost their way, birdpeople who were silent and elegant, a ballerina on a piano and most of all the funniest streetclown I have ever seen. Me and my cousins, we liked him so much we could watch him for hours making fun of people who tried to pass him on their ways.

What I most liked about that day was the time with my family. For me it's very important when I have people around me that don't take energy from me but give me energy instead. That's a very rare thing and I treasure it.

Cheers mates~

PRIDE 2015

Like every year there is Pride Week. It is kind of a custom for me by now to go to the Christoper Street Day in the beginning of August. Although I have to say that this year was probably the best so far. I'm not sure why. Maybe because we such great weather (CSD in rain is awful), or maybe the atmosphere was especially good (not just party atmosphere but I had the feeling it was far more political) or maybe so many friends of mine came to celebrate. Marie and Nina, Lisa and Indra, Carina (far from Japan!), my dearest Jenn (was it the first time we went to the CSD together??)...

Well, let's start at the beginning of Pride Week. Because of work I was just able to do a little at the weekends, but at least there were some parties in for me. Like the pride night party, I was there with Lisa, Indra and Maike (a friend of them both). Because I was sick I couldn't stay long, but at least I could dance a little. Here some photos of that evening:

Lisa painted our hands with rainbows for that occasion. I was sad that I had to go so early, but I didn't really feel that well so that was the better thing to do. So the following weekend was the CSD. The whole week was just rainy and bad weather and I was really afraid we would be without luck but then it was super sunny and warm and I even got a slight sunburn.

While we were waiting for the parade to start Lisa was painting the rainbow theme again.

I am so happy that I got a good photo of Olivia Jones.

I was also really happy that the refugee topic was a very important thing in the parade as well and I saw many signs.

Also some lovely photos of Jenn and Marie.

The last one here is one of my favourite photos. She looks so gorgeous and happy!

Marie and Nina made that sign and it got many positive reactions, in the last one you see also Carina with that sign.

Also a selfie of me and Jenn and the last photo I made with my cellphone for Instagram.

It was such a great day and I was quite exhausted at the end, but it was so worth it to see all my friends and had so much fun.
